The New Covenant and the Law – Worship on July 9

Join us at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 9, at the Ludington Library, 217 East Ludington Avenue, for our worship service. Pastor Brett’s topic is “The New Covenant and the Law.” Our scriptures include Matthew 6:19-24, Galatians 5:13-18, and Hebrews 8:7-13.

Synopsis: Today we look at the New Covenant established in Christ Jesus and how that freedom should impact us. Freedom is a word we talk about a lot, especially this time of year. So, what does freedom from sin in the New Covenant really mean for us as believers in Christ?

Community Church is open!

Community Church is fully open again for worship, meetings, and for Community Table. The water and moisture issues with our building have been resolved.

Worship services resume in our sanctuary on Sunday, August 13 at 9:30 a.m.

The Serenity Group AA meetings, and Northwestern Michigan Area NA meetings are meeting in the building again. Use the west-most doors to the church to enter the church for these meetings.

Community Table resumes serving meals on Tuesday, August 15. A hot meal, free for everyone, is served between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. You can enter the church from the Harrison Street doors or the west-most doors off the parking lot.

Worship on July 2: Hebrews: Introduction to Jesus

Celebrate our Lord, our Redeemer, with us at 9:30 am on Sunday, July 2nd at 9:30 am at the Ludington Library. The library is directly across Harrison Street from our church. Use the west entrance for the library.

An unexpected issue has arisen at the church, so we are moving over to the library’s public meeting room area. It is fully handicap accessible.

Pastor Brett’s topic is “Hebrews: Introduction to Jesus” with scriptures from Proverbs 8:27-32, Colossians 1:16-20, and Hebrews 1:1-4. We will attempt to live stream on Facebook or YouTube. Have juice and bread at hand if you wish to celebrate communion with us at home on this Communion Sunday.

Worship on June 11: If It’s not Me or You… Then Who?

Come to our 9:30 a.m. worship service at Community Church to worship our Lord! Roger Cochran’s topic this Sunday is “If It’s Not Me or You… Then Who?”  Our scriptures are Proverbs 3:5-10, Romans 12:1-8, and Ephesians 1:17-23.

This Sunday, we also recognize the talented college students who have been awarded scholarship funds through the generous trusts (Myers, Laude/Caldwell, and Liebetreu) given to The Community Church of Ludington’s care. Mother’s Day, May 14th Worship
