Our service for Christmas Eve and Christmas day have both been cancelled due to ongoing blizzard conditions. Pastor Brett shared this message on Facebook today:
The bulletin includes scriptures for the Old Testament prophecies about Christ’s birth, so is a good item to read this Christmas even though we will not worship together.

Worship on November 27: Our Hope is in Jesus!

Come in jeans or other comfortable clothes if you wish to help with “The Hanging of the Greens” as we decorate for the Advent season after worship! It’s a great social time and wonderful to see the sanctuary being transformed.

Synopsis: The Sermon on the Mount describes the Christian life. When we look at the Jesus’ teachings in the sermon, it is easy to wonder how it is possible to live in this blessedness. The truth is, it is not possible if not for Jesus’ gift on the cross. Jesus died on the cross, not just so our sins would be forgiven and we could live in Heaven with Him for eternity; but so we could live in the blessedness of the Sermon on the Mount.
November 6, 2022, “Sermon on the Mount: Foundation”

Synopsis: Today’s passage talks about the foundation of our faith. What that comes down to is this; what does one believe, what are one’s core beliefs, what does one believe to be true. Then we have to ask this; do our stated beliefs align with how we are living our life?
