Worship with us at Community Church on Sunday, September 17th at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Brett Spalding’s topic is, “Yet, I Will Rejoice in the Lord.” Our scriptures are Isaiah 61:10-13, Habakkuk 1:5-11, and Habakkuk 3:14-19.
Synopsis: The prophet Habakkuk was called at a difficult time. He was awaiting the brutal Babylonian invasion of Judah. Things looked dismal, threatening, and uncertain. We have all faced these times in our lives, some seemingly hopeless. This was the case here, and Habakkuk responds, “Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord!” It is never the circumstances that shape us, but our response to them.
